Determining how you want to be seen and known is an important part of managing your career and practice as a physician. Why should positioning or branding matter to physicians? A physician’s professional brand – or reputation - impacts how they are perceived by others – be they patients, staff, or colleagues. It signals to the world who you are, what’s important to you and how you add value. Titles and designations alone don’t do this. They simply indicate one’s role and credentials. If you want to be seen beyond the letters that follow your name, you need to let the world know.
