Dr. Omolayo Famuyide is the Founder of the Layo Centre, a comprehensive women’s health clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A former practicing pharmacist turned family physician, she completed a specialized women’s health fellowship at the University of Toronto and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through The Menopause Society. Recognized for her expertise in contraception, reproductive health, and menopause, Dr. Famuyide is a sought-after speaker at local and national conferences and a frequent media contributor; with appearances in Global News, CTV News, The Winnipeg Free Press and Chatelaine Magazine. She serves on several professional boards, including Doctors Manitoba, the Canadian Menopause Society and the Menopause Foundation of Canada. She is a dedicated educator and advocate for women’s health. Outside of medicine, she is a proud mom, fitness enthusiast, foodie, and enjoys travelling. 

In 2024, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch.
