Dr. Melanie Hnatiuk is a Clinical Associate Professor and Faculty Wellness Lead, Department of Family Medicine, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. Clinically, Melanie has been a comprehensive family physician for the last 19 years. Melanie has held various leadership roles throughout the health system in Alberta, and she is currently the President Elect for the Alberta College of Family Physicians as well as a Physician Associate with the WellDoc Initiative. Melanie believes that the well-being of physicians is foundational to the functioning of the health care system and that it is more important than ever to heal our professional culture. Most importantly, Melanie is a mom of 3 and loves to spend time in nature with her family.
