Cancellation Policy

Costs are incurred by the event organizers for all cancellations and changes (non-refundable credit card processing fees and administrative fees). Our cancellation policies are designed to offset these costs and to ensure the sustainability of the event for others. These policies are final. ​

  • Cancellations until May 31, 2025 11:59pm ET:​​

    • Full refund minus $150+ tax administrative fee

  • Cancellations June 1 and July 31, 2025 11:59pm ET:​​

    • 50% refund

  • Cancellations from August 1, 2025 onwards:​

    • ​​No refunds

CWIM Gather is not responsible for any hotel and/or travel costs, or optional activities costs incurred by participants who need to cancel their in-person registration. 

Force Majeure

If the CWIM Leaders Organizing Committee determines that the event cannot be held in-person due to COVID-19 (either due to Public Health guidelines or a large number of cancellations due to the COVID-19 situation worsening in Canada) the event will be held virtually. The cancellation policy above will still apply. 

This also applies to any other unforeseen emergencies that would restrict the ability to hold an in-person event including strike, lock-out, riots, insurrection, war, pandemic, natural disaster or weather emergency restricting travel, government-imposed lockdown, acts of God. 

The event organizers reserve the right to change the schedule or replace a speaker if unforeseen circumstances arise. CME credits for any and all sessions are not guaranteed until an official announcement has been made.
