Who is this event for?

This event is for women+ physicians with an interest in leadership skills development.  Registration is restricted to licensed (or retired) women+ physicians. Registered medical students, residents & fellows of an accredited medical school can also attend. 

 

Do I need to have attended CWIM Leaders One and CWIM Leaders Two to attend this event?

No. The events do not build on one another - they can be taken in any order. 

 

Is this event accredited?

Yes! Please see accreditation statements from both RCPSC and CFPC below. 

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

CWIM Leaders Three is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1), as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and was approved by the Canadian Ophthalmological Society. Physicians may claim a maximum of 10 hours. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the learning activity.


Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on theprocess to convert Royal College MOC credit to AMA credit can be found at:

College of Family Physicians of Canada 

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Alberta Chapter for up to 10 Mainpro+ Credits. 

Do I have to be a physician to register?

Yes. This event is for physicians only. 

 

Is there a special rate for paid partners of the Canadian Women in Medicine Organization?

Yes. CWIM Partners received a discounted rate of $1645+ tax until October 31, 2024. 

 

I am a CWIM Partner. How do I register?

If your CWIM partnership is active, the main registration page will recognize your email address. Please ensure you are using the same email address as your CWIM partnership registration. If your email is not recognized, please send an email to hello@cwimorg.com to check your partner status and confirm the correct email address. 

 

Can I register if I am not Canadian?

Yes. During registration, please select 'other' under Provincial College Affiliation and add your local country's physician registration number. If you do not have a verifiable physician credential, please email us at hello@cwimgather.com.
